We went to a Preschool Playtime class at a local gym. I have been anxiously waiting to try it out. It's open gym time for kids from walking - 5 yrs. It didn't take long and Julia was having fun. Of course, she enjoyed the big balls - and also had fun exploring different matting textures and going down the tumble track. Here's a video of our first gymnastics class.

Happy New Year
We rang in the new year with a rare dinner out, just the two of us. Then spent the evening playing games with friends, Carrie and Mark.

Christmas
Despite our 17 hour trip to grandma and grandpa's houses (supposed to be 10-12 hrs) we had a good time. Much to Julia's disappointment, her beloved tracker (skid loader) had to go back to Grandpa L, so towing that in snowy weather slowed us down even more. However, Julia loved all the attention she received once we arrived. She still talks about Moose - grandma/pa L's new golden retreiver puppie, smiles big when she see's pictures of Alec, and loves to try to wink like great grandma and grandpa S. taught her. While at grandma and grandpa L's, she did get into a little mischeif and got into her diaper bag and my purse while supposedly napping. She took everything out and destroyed my lipstick and make-up compact. Good thing she didn't put things in her mouth, but she did am amaturish job of putting make-up on herself. She got it all over her face and in her hair, she was a mess. Below is a picture of some of the destruction left in the pack-n-play. I shared a couple other picts too.
